"Computers? I'm an artist, I'll never use computers!" Never say never, eh? With a liberal arts degree and a studio art major, Meg discovered her problem solving (read persistence and creativity) and customer service skills (read diplomatic ability to explain errors) made for excellent software technical support, which is how she met the Internet. Web design became the way to combine her art background and technical skills...but after ten years, she fled the halls of corporate America to walk through France, where she discovered even butterflies move faster than she does walking. In Spain, the rain turned out to fall mainly in the northern coastal areas, so she modified her travel plans to include motorized transport. En route overland to Cape Town, Meg reached Accra, Ghana just as Geekcorps needed a web designer, one of those cosmic coincideces that make life so amazing.
