Aramazd was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1975, as the youngest of three children. He moved to Southern California at age 12 and earned a degree in Economics from Grinnell College in Iowa before returning to Los Angeles in 1997. Realizing that he couldn’t do what he wanted with an Economics degree, he started working in the computer industry, relying on the interest and involvement with computers that he had fostered as a hobby for many years.

In 1999 he moved to the San Francisco Bay area and joined Quickstart Technologies where he quickly ramped up on application development best practices as well as technologies, through a combination of Microsoft Certified coursework, mentoring and hands-on experience. He continued to work as a consultant with Bonds Consulting in the Bay Area before moving back to Los Angeles where he has been working as a freelance developer ever since.

Aramazd is a member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, the Burbank chapter of the Armenian National Committee of America, and Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America. His favorite pastimes are spending a relaxing day with loved ones, travelling and camping. He also enjoys playing games, ranging from chess and backgammon to bellot, to all manner of computer games.
