I was in Accra, Ghana, with Geekcorps in 2002 working together with Rancard Soultions (http://www.rancardsolutions.com/). We worked with documentation, mobile solutions and web development.
I had a great time, on and off work, and an experience of a lifetime together with wonderful people.
Currently (summer 2006) I'm working at EF Education (http://www.ef.com) in Luzern, Switzerland, as web developer for a couple of their products. I world miles away from my time in West Africa - in many ways.
And I have a feeling I will end up working in a project like Geekcorps again...
