Christina Siroskey

Christina Siroskey is a Canadian/American volunteer who comes to us from her current residence in Washington DC. During the summer of 2005, she is contributing her skills to Geekcorps while on summer holiday from working on her Masters degree in International Science and Technology Policy. Prior to her studies at George Washington University, she spent over five years assisting organizations with the strategic use and implementation of technology. Her expertise has helped many American organizations to become more efficient and self sustainable. She has helped programs create infrastructure for fee-for-service models, trained nonprofit staff, presented at both national and regional conferences and coordinated direct technology services for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Prior to 2002, her roles included technology program officer, first tier tech support provider, and technology coach (aka accidental techie) within an e-commerce firm and a small legal firm. When not studying, Christina is actively involved in independent projects within the American legal aid and nonprofit technology sectors. And when not working, she can usually be found socializing with friends and family, exercising outdoors, or headed out on a fabulous adventure.
