Jason is a writer who funds his career by selling himself out to the tech industry. He grew up in Schenectady, NY. He graduated from Drew University with a degree in Philosophy & Computer Science. Due to the paucity of jobs in Philosophy Jason decided to work 78hrs a week as the Lead Programmer at a start-up ISP in NJ. After a month of backpacking across Europe he found the ISP had turned into a porn hosting site. While the business had finally become profitable the change in moral climate prompted a change of venue; Jason moved to Cambridge, MA to work for a large Defense Contractor. As a Raytheon engineer he worked on server side solutions for secure web applications. Now only working 40hrs a week Jason moonlighted for UMass as an associate professor teaching Perl and Java, worked on a graduate degree in Modern Literature at Harvard and volunteered his free time at Malden High School to teach students the fundamentals of e-business. During those four years Jason's dedication to write grew. In May of last year Jason quit Raytheon to pursue writing full time but financial tensions made him seek more stable income after the summer ended. Jason now works as a technical gun for hire. He spends most of his time traveling around the U.S., teaching SUN Microsystems' Java courses and burning the midnight oil on fiction writing. Wanderlust, a flexible schedule and a supportive Croatian girlfriend allow him to spend these next few months making a difference instead of just making money.

Jason worked for Ghana Classifieds, a web portal for business and supply content. He helped them to develop new pieces to the existing web site as well as maintenance that allows real-time content to be updated every few minutes.
