Mary Overby grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and now lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where she works as an IT consultant.
She has a MS in CS from Rochester Institute of Technology and twenty years of IT experience working in R&D, academic, corporate and small business settings. She started her career in the area of artificial intelligence and has been developing web-database applications since 1994.
